Hey!
Auroni this side. I am currently pursuing my PhD from Kusuma School of Biological Sciences, IIT Delhi and was awarded the Prime Minister's Research Fellowship in the Cycle 11 lateral entry scheme.
I am presently trying to study the role of non-canonical DNA secondary structures in the physiological state of Hypoxia and my favorite hobby is to constantly look at my colorful CD curves until inferences pop up.
Happy Scrolling...

About
Our Mission
I investigate non-canonical DNA secondary structures, i-Motifs (iM) and G-Quadruplexes (G4), as molecular switches governing gene expression. My PhD work spans three interconnected projects: (1) Developing QuaDB, a publicly deployed bioinformatics tool for genome-wide quadruplex prediction; (2) Establishing the mechanistic role of the Polyamine–iM Axis in transcriptional regulation using biophysical, structural, and computational approaches; (3) Characterising iM-mediated gene regulation under hypoxic stress. This dual wet-lab and bioinformatic expertise position my research at the intersection of molecular biology, cancer genomics and epigenetics, and therapeutic target discovery.
